As many NAS users, I find boring that mountain lion does not help my “template” folder (like pictures, music, video etc … ) to be stored on my NAS.
Yes with the Server edition and Opendirectory, you can change this but … not so easy.
A nice way to fix : use this NFS Manager to properly mount the share to the right place (and even go a bit faster than AFP shares)
